🍻 Two Daves, One Shared Passion: Scantic River Brewery

The story of Scantic River Brewery begins with two dedicated homebrewers, both named Dave. For years, they quietly obsessed over their craft, perfecting recipes on kitchen stovetops. When fate united them, they instantly bonded over a shared depth of knowledge and a common dream to share their carefully-crafted beer with the world.  With a combined 25 years of brewing experience, the Two Daves officially opened Scantic River Brewery in Hampden, Massachusetts, in 2012. Their mission was, and remains, simple: to share great beer.

 

Quality Over Volume: As a committed Nano-Brewery, our smaller size is our greatest strength, ensuring hands-on attention to every batch. We prioritize quality over volume, using locally-produced ingredients whenever possible. This dedication is evident in every pour, from the signature Hampden Pale Ale and North Trail IPA to the fan-favorite Killer Bee.

The Wilbraham Expansion: The Daves’ dream expanded in 2024 with a beautiful new brewery and Tap Room at 6 Burt Lane in Wilbraham, MA. This exciting expansion allows us to broaden our offerings to include new beers and hard seltzers, creating the perfect community hub.

The Tap Room is where you can unwind and connect: enjoy a fresh pint, sample great local food, listen to live music, or relax on the patio, or host your private event. It’s the ideal spot to gather, built on the enduring passion of the Two Daves.
